Semainier desk with flap in Boulle marquetry of rosewood and amaranth on a black background. It has a curved front and sides, opening with a flap revealing niches and drawers and simulating drawers in the front and four drawers in the lower section. The top is a doucine with a white marble top. Slight ornamentation of chased and gilded bronze for the lock escutcheons and legs.
