Signed Louis XV secretary by Léonard Boudin in royal wood and rosewood, veneered. Straight, high rectangular body, flanked by narrow, angled corner pilaster strips, merging into curved feet. The articulated front features two doors and a hinged worktop with an inlaid work surface in gold-embossed leather. Staggered compartmentalisation behind. Curved, ascending, single-division top and slightly protruding cover plate made of red-veined marble. Mirrored veneer panels covering the entire surface, bordered by applied rocailles. On the back. Marked by a stamp; L. BOUDIN (becomes master 1761) and Parisian jury stamp JME. H. 138 cm. 91.5 cm x 36 cm. Cf. Kjellberg, p. 86f.
