SINGRY Jean-Baptiste (1782-1824). Portrait of Louis-Philippe, Duke of Orléans (1773-1850), posing in a blue frock coat, with a white lace jabot. Large rectangular painted miniature on ivory signed on the right by the artist Singry, preserved under a curved glass in its beautiful original finely chased and gilt bronze frame decorated with a large frieze of palmettes and topped with an arabesque motif, with bronze easel foot on the back. Restorations, but good condition. French work by Au Point du Jour, Paris. Sight: H.: 16.5 cm - W.: 12.5 cm. Frame: H. 30 cm - W. 22 cm.
