Fourth edition in which the author complains: "The infidelity and lack of good faith of the booksellers... have counterfeited and disfigured the third edition, so that it teaches how to kill horses rather than cure them". It is illustrated with a frontispiece, 2 engraved plates, one of which is folding, and numerous woodcuts in the text. A very good copy, uncommon in good condition. (Menessier de la Lance, 525).
