A sumptuous naturalistic brocade in the style of Jean Revel (1684–1781), Lyon, c. 1740, polychrome silk lampas, with metallic thread and weft, decorated with heavy, undulating garlands of blooms and fruit, and a portico of foliage and architectural motifs in the openwork sections.
