Important revised and considerably enlarged edition of the author's main work, published in Nuremberg in 1672 under the title Universa medicina tam theorica quam practica.
This two-column edition was published in Vienna, where the Belgian physician Paul de Sorbait (1624-1691) was rector of the Faculty of Medicine and personal physician to Empress Eleanor. It is decorated with a fine intaglio engraved title-frontispiece.
