TUREEN "DE LA LEGION D'HONNEUR Soup tureen known as "La Légion d'honneur" in fine white Longwy earthenware. The body is decorated with a frieze of branches at the top and bees at the bottom, the side handles with imperial eagles with outstretched wings. The lid is encircled by a frieze of eagles alternating with starry standards and crowned with an imperial crown. Engraved mark on the reverse: "LONGWY 2".
