Leather headband present with a missing clip, small chinstrap present, neck band missing, period headband tightening lace replaced. This helmet belonged to Captain Constantini, a former French commando who served with the 2nd Shock Battalion and then the 5 REI. US M1 liner by Firestone bearing at front the general airborne insignia stencil in white paint retaining original factory finish.
