Frame containing a large red cross in red cheesecloth, a white armband with a red cross stamped by the military intendance, a pair of canvas and leather stretcher straps, a pass in the name of VICLUR "attached to the ambulances of the Press, annexes of the Ministry of War, to relieve the wounded on the battlefield", Paris 29th November 1870, signed by de la Grangerie, all topped by a tricolour ribbon decorated with a metal hat badge with the Red Cross and a paper banner on which is written: "Souvenir de la campagne du Rd frère VICLUR, pendant le siège de Paris par les prussiens 1870".
