Spanish fleur de lis processional cross with an affixed Christ crowned in the centre, in gilded copper, with incised decoration and cabochons. Gothic. 14th century. 63 x 37 cm. The cross, which retains its original clump, is ornamented on the front and on the back by engraved decoration representing a fine trunk or branch from which leaves emerge. Ending with a fleur-de-lis at its three points The typology is characteristic of the crosses produced in Spain at this time, both for those made in precious metals such as gold or silver, or those such as this crucifix, which imitate them, made of gilded copper.
