Engraving after a drawing by Bartholomaeus Spranger, featuring two columns of Latin text ('Ad Veneris... perennis aquis'). In the scene, Venus and Mercury embrace on a bed; behind them, Cupid brandishes an arrow, while another putto seizes the god's caduceus.
