Printed in Naples 1655 by Ettore Cicconuio at the request of Gio. Alberto Taringi dedicated to Prince Marurizio of Savoy.
Volume 1/16 Folio, cover in floscia parchment, with hand annotation and numbers on it, ribs with title (?). Book divided into two parts; the first deals with geometry and other curiosities relating to military architecture, the second deals with how to determine the dimensions of each surface and body and how fortresses should be built. This is followed by a short treatise on trigonometry. Inside the volume there are many examples of calculations, drawings of geometries and defensive works. Fine capilettera and subject endings to the first part. The volume is the work of a famous military engineer and architect in the service of the Savoy Court. In good condition, some pages browned.
