DIGNITARY STATUETTE The figure is depicted standing, with arms and hands outstretched on either side of the loincloth. Legs together. He is wearing a long loincloth with a knot on the chest. The head has now disappeared. On the back, a rear pillar with a hieroglyphic column. For a similar model, statuette of a man in basalt c. 1800 BC. Museum of Fine Art, Budapest, 51.330 (fig.1).
