In gilt bronze
Representing the "Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara", seated in lalitasana or royal relaxation, holding the lustral water vase in his right hand and the "Chintamani", a wish-fulfilling jewel symbolising spiritual enlightenment, in his left hand. The face, expressing serenity, the eyes half-closed, topped with a crown reminiscent of Amitabha. The ears are adorned with earrings, symbolising the divine elegance of the bodhisattva.
