STUNNING CARTHAGINIAN GLASS HEAD PENDANT. Ca. 500 - 400 BC A glass pendant in the form of a bearded male head, modelled in opaque yellow glass with dark blue for the cap, brows, beard and pupils. The face has a prominent nose, protruding lips and large eyes, with the ears set high to the sides and the beard rendered as a long rectangular panel with vertical ribs. A loop for suspension rises above the cap. Size: 53mm x 30mm; Weight: 20g.
