STUNNING HELLENISTIC GOLD PENDANT WITH STANDING EROS. Ca. 300 - 200 BC. A gold pendant depicting a standing figure of Eros with detailed facial features, short wavy hair, and outstretched wings. Depicted in a dynamic pose, one leg is positioned slightly forward. The rounded torso and softly defined abdomen are sculpted with precision. Extending symmetrically from the back, the wings display individual feathers rendered in relief. At the top, a suspension loop formed from a circular gold band is present.
