Ivory, carved in full relief. Depicted in a three-nail type with arms stretched up diagonally, the head with shoulder-length hair tilted to the right and mouth open, the loincloth tied around the hips with an artfully knotted rope. Very finely detailed, artistically masterful Corpus Christi with subtle, anatomically faithful rendering of the body including the musculature and protruding veins as well as richly detailed carved hair and beard. 30 cm; w. 22 cm.
