Relief of a rococo lady with doves
Ivory. Extremely finely and skilfully open-worked relief, the young lady in period dress, a feather-decorated hat on her head, surrounded and caressed by pigeons, which she is feeding from a cob and her hand. The figure is framed by rich acanthus wreaths, at her feet a stylised heron formed from them. Mounted on a brown velvet-covered panel. Relief 19 cm x 12 cm. Frame.
