Uniface. MEDOR - ; Bronze - 376,55 g - 175 x 85 mm - 12 h In its original green leatherette case, with engraved attribution to Mr M. GAUTIN À PARIS. Very nice advertising plate with a brown patina. Superb. One of the great Art Deco designers, Jean Dunand (1877-1942) was of Swiss origin and later naturalised French. He was a decorator, sculptor, copperware maker, cabinetmaker, lacquerer and painter, best known for decorating transatlantic liners with Ruhlmann, Leleu, Jouve and others. The Musée d'Orsay has several dishes and a paperweight by Jean Dunand. Our artist was also a medallist, as this plaque indicates
