SUITE OF TWO TSUBA in iron, one "mokko-gata", with decoration in light relief and small incustations of sentoku and shibuichi, of a mountainous landscape animated with an oarsman on a boat on one side, geese in flight on the other, signed "Yamashiro kuni Fushimi (no) ju Kaneie"; the other, of the "kawari tsuba" type, in the shape of a teapot decorated with stylised motifs. (The first slightly depatinated). Japan, Edo period (1602-1868), 18th century. A SET OF TWO IRON TSUBAS, ONE SIGNED, JAPAN, EDO PERIOD (1602-1868), 18TH CENTURY.
