Following the model of PRAXITELES, France, 19th century - "Diane / Artémis de Gabios", sculpture after the antique in bronze with a beautiful warm brown patina of a woman covered with a draped chiton. H. 34 cm (without base) H. 36.5 cm (with base) Note: From the famous Greek marble original, attributed to Praxiteles, discovered in 1792 and transferred to the Palazzo Borghese, later to be sold to Napoleon and transferred to the Louvre in Paris. Supposed to be Artemis / Diana of Gabia according to the type of clothing; the goddess stands tying her dress.
