SUBJECT in gilded bronze depicting Chaturbhuja Mahakala, with four arms, seated in "lalitasana" (posture of relaxation) with one foot resting on a lotus on a single-row lotiform base, holding the "kapala" cup and the "katrika" cleaver. The divinity is crowned with the Mundamala, adorned with five skulls. A gilded copper plate covers the base. Sino-Tibetan work, 18th-19th centuries.
