SUMERIAN UBEID TERRACOTTA IDOL Ca. 4000 - 3000 BC. A terracotta idol depicted as a seated abstract figure with simplified arms projecting sideways and a tall conical head. The body is incised with two opposing triangles, one on the torso and the other in the pubic area. The facial details are minimally rendered, with prominent circular eyes and a protruding nose.
