SUZUKI T500 - Type: MTT2 - Bodywork: SOLO - Energy: ES - 1st M.E.C: 01/01/1972 - Power: 5 - Remarks: SUZUKI T500, type T500, 1972, chassis T50052226.
The Suzuki T500 should have made a bigger impact in its time, with probably the biggest two-stroke twin on the market. But it made its European debut in the midst of the 1968 rush, and less than a year later a three-cylinder Kawasaki 500 arrived to make its mark. Bad timing... The T500 was not lacking in attractions, however, and was produced for around ten years. Text Moto 80 Belgium
The orange-and-white livery, combined with a lot of chrome, is very representative of the 70s. A beautiful 500 two-stroke, drum brakes, everything about this machine is deliciously retro.
Meticulously restored, the bike has 13,315 miles on the clock. The engine was completely rebuilt in November 2019 to 10,053 miles (or 3262 miles since - 5248 kms since). Gearbox recently checked by its owner, meticulous maintenance.
A very nice bike ready to hit the road.
