SYRO-HITTITE TERRACOTTA FEMALE IDOL Ca. 1200 - 1000 BC. A terracotta female idol with a slender, elongated body tapering towards the feet, outstretched arms, and a prominent disc-shaped element applied at the abdomen. The lower torso is decorated with incised horizontal bands. The figure wears a broad ribbed necklace, and the head is modelled with large recessed eyes and a pinched nose.
