Snuffbox Made of horn, wood and metal. Shaped like a horse’s hoof, it has a snap-on lid, the base of the ring on which is adorned with the initials ‘LL’, engraved within a coat of arms surmounted by a crown. Bears the following inscriptions, engraved in English script: ‘1914–1915 // Campaign // E.G. // Souvenir’, a monogram within a coat of arms and the date within a leaf-framed scroll.
