RECTANGULAR TABATIERE IN 14 k (585) GOLD AND ENAMEL
Probably by the Jordan brothers, Berlin or Hanau, circa 1810
With guilloche decoration, the angles cut, the lid decorated with a polychrome enamel miniature depicting the Chernyshev Bridge in St Petersburg, on the throat numbered: 2826; small dents and scratches, minor restorations and missing enamel.

The Chernyshev Bridge, in the centre of St Petersburg on the Fontaka River, was built between 1785 and 1787. In the 19th century, it was rebuilt with its four turrets.
