The sober, architectural lines of this elegant chiffonière table, enhanced by the skilful choice of the finest mahogany grain, are characteristic of the work of Claude Charles Saunier, master in 1752. The very discreet presence of Guillaume Benneman's stamp under the marble top of this table suggests that he acted as restorer.
