Each vase stands on a round stepped base rim and has a bulbous body with articulated shoulders and a long neck. Each wall is decorated with an imperial yellow ground. Dense floral scrolls, highlighted Shou characters, surrounded by archaic bats, and ornaments in open work with birds between branches decorate the walls. Each neck is on the side adorned with handles in the shape of dragons. Each vase can be closed by a matching lid with a round knob. A highly decorative pair of considerable size. This pair of vases is in very good condition with hardly any signs of wear. Each vase is partly enameled on the inside. The height of each vase measures 140 cm, the diameter is approx. 66 cm.
