Lace-maker’s bobbin Made of carved Swiss stone pine, straw and fabric. The frame, shaped like a drum, is pegged together. The rim is lined with a thick piece of unbleached linen. The solid side is decorated with a Maltese cross set within a large star, adorned with wolf’s teeth. The other side is adorned with a large star, also decorated with wolf’s teeth. The door latch is still present but the door is missing. Remnants of leather remain at the hinge. Queyras, 19th century H. 21.5 cm – W. 22 cm Missing parts and restorations
