Brocade table rug, India, early 20th century, Elements of a sari remounted in mauve brocaded satin spun laughing silver decorated with cypress trees, peacock feathers, berry branches and flowering arches on the borders. Lined, system braid all around, (slight discolouration, a few stains), 215 x 170 cm.
