On the ground, an upturned skate and other fish from the Adriatic. From their privileged position, the windows on the beach of the famous 'Castelletto', Raphael and his father saw the boats returning from fishing and often immortalised the young women with baskets full of fish, boats or, as in this case, the fruit of their labour.
