Consecrated "Butti" fetish statue depicting a standing figure, encased from neck to toe in an earthen gangue containing magical charges. Only the head emerges, with its face streaked with fine, tight vertical scarification marks, and covered with a ritual coating that forms a fine felting. First third of the 20th century.
