TERENCE. Sex quæ extant fabulæ. Leipzig, Melchior Lotter, 1514. In-folio, bradel half vellum with corners, smooth spine with calligraphy, blue edges (Modern binding). Very rare post-incunabula scholastic edition of Terence's comedies.
The work was printed in Roman type mixed with Gothic, with wide enough line spacing and margins to be annotated by its owner.
The title is printed in red and black and the fine woodcut printer's mark appears on the last leaf.
A copy copiously annotated in the sixteenth century.
Mottling, traces of mould at the bottom of the last leaves, marginal repairs to a few leaves, annotations trimmed by the binder.
