LACQUERED WOODEN HEAD, CHINA, MING DYNASTY PERIOD (1368-1664)
The large bust with the face with lowered gaze, benign smile and long pendulous ears, the black hair drawn into a high coiled chignon bound with a clasp, wearing a black and red dress with a high collar at the neck. In quite good condition, traces of lacquering and flakes on the polychromes coloured surface, a few wear on the surface and minor losses.
