Head of Bes. Stone amulet (steatite) with a recessed decoration on the reverse showing the god Bes standing between two figures. Egypt. Late Period (664-332 BC) or earlier. Height 3.5 cm. Wear and accidents. For comparison, a similar example in the Louvre (E 1279) and the Musée Condé (OA 1145).
