Young Laotian woman's head in bronze, Vietnam, 1st half 20th century Wearing a side bun held in place by a pin, and earrings, the Bien Hoa (Bien Hoa School of Applied Arts) mark incised into the back of the neck, the metal with a brown patina, screwed onto a square black lacquered wooden base. Worn patina at the ends, small scratches, the front edge of the neck (bottom) repainted black. H. 23.5 cm (head only); 32 cm (total)
