In-8, stiff vellum, smooth spine, speckled edges (18th-century Italian binding). A fine and rare Venetian edition of Theocritus' Idylls printed in Greek. It is decorated with two typographical marks on the first and last leaves and two calligrams interspersed in a woodcut on ff. 76v° and 78. Without the commentary volume published the same year by Zacharias Kalliergis. Some spotting, f. 5 stained, small lack in margin of last leaf. Last blank leaf missing. CNCE, 53989 - USTC, 858942.
