Eliot, British-born American poet, playwright and literary critic, winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1948. The Family Reunion' is a play in two acts, written mainly in blank verse. It was first produced at London's Westminster Theatre in March 1939, six months before the outbreak of war.
