Tillieux: Gil Jourdan, panel 12 in Indian ink and white gouache highlights from the episode "Popaïne et vieux tableaux" ("Popaïne and old paintings") published in Spirou No. 98, 30 May 1957. A direct sequel to the first volume, this story tells of drug trafficking between France and Italy, with the head of the network having the good taste to collect paintings by masters. In this composition, Gil Jourdan's assistant Queue-de-Cerise, continuing her investigation into popaine trafficking, is led to attend a reception at Palankine's château in Tourneuve, but the young woman's behaviour attracts the attention of the owner of the premises.
