Tintin, Indian ink illustration with white gouache highlights entitled "Le Dessinateur manipulé" ("The Draughtsman Manipulated"), produced in 1949 and published in the article "Nos Dessinateurs dans l'intimité" ("Our Draughtsmen in Intimacy") in Tintin No. 9, 2 March 1950. An amusing drawing with fine lines in which Tintin and Snowy use the author as a puppet to draw portraits of the heroes. A composition that sums up the master's work. This drawing was reused several times, including for the Belgian stamp in 1999. Mentioned in "Chronologie d'une oeuvre tome 5 1943/1949" (p. 413, P. Goddin, Ed. Moulinsart, 2004). (Slightly darkened and sticky on the reverse). Size of drawing : 10.1 x 11.4. Size of paper: 14.5 x 15.5.
