Account of a journey made from 21 August to 12 September 1837 through the Mont Blanc region and the Swiss and Italian Alps: Samoëns, Sixt, Col d'Anterne, Saint-Gervais, Col du Bonhomme, Courmayeur, Val d'Aoste, Milan, Como, Lugano, Simplon, Brig, Sion and return to Geneva. One of Töpffer's finest autographed albums, printed in a small number, very rare. Signed autograph letter from Töpffer to Professor Boissier on the cover.
