Levitsky, reflecting the erotic and humorous theme of the work. 8vo (232 x 180 mm). Copy no. 36 of 550, one of only 50 printed on Japon paper, enriched with an original signed and watercoloured drawing by J. Touchet, a supplementary suite in orange, and a full suite of 56 additional illustrations. The text is illustrated with 53 colour plates by J. Touchet, hand-coloured using the pochoir technique. Fine binding signed by G. Levitsky in full crimson morocco, the upper cover decorated with an inlaid character in brown, green, and purple morocco; similar figures repeated on spine and lower cover. Citron morocco doublures, with corner mosaics in brown, green, and red; silk endleaves, gilt edges, original wrappers preserved, housed in slipcase. (1)
