CATHEDRALE" WORK Rare large "cathedrale" armchair in rosewood and rosewood veneer with fine brass inlay and ornamentation. It is crowned by an openwork foliage pediment centred on a cartouche numbered "HA" under a brass marquis's crown and framed by two spinning tops. It has a structure of Gothic orbevoies and arches. Decorated with openwork and brass inlay of Gothic arcatures and orbevoies underlined by brass fillets and astragals. The uprights are octagonal with canted sides. The legs rest on four small metal castors. In the style of Marie d'Orléans (1813-1839) 19th century. Height: 138.5 cm Width: 69 cm Depth: 65 cm To be refilled.
