To be compared with the armchair à la reinde of the comte de Vaudreuil, attributed to Georges I Jacob (1735-1814) by comparison with the one executed in 1787 for the salon des jeux of Louis XVI at the château de Saint-Cloud, now in the Collection du Mobilien National under inventory N° GMT-19954-002.
