SWISS WORK improperly known as the BLACK FOREST A rare planter with a softwood structure, richly decorated with branches and stylised rosettes, composed of pine cones in relief and applied wooden strips. The neck is highlighted at the top with interlacing rattan and has a zinc interior. The base consists of a central shaft surrounded and underlined by seven vertical crosspieces supporting the jardinière and resting on a four-legged base decorated with rosettes. Late 19th century.
