Three maki-e lacquer cigar cases, Japan, Meiji (1868-1912) One decorated with a hawk in front of a landscape (Mount Fuji on one side), the second with peonies on a landscape background on one side, and coins on the other, the last showing thatched cottages in a landscape, and orchids on the reverse, on a roiro black lacquer background.
