Gilded and lacquered wood trumeau, moulded and carved, decorated with leaning columns, Corinthian capitals, rows of pearls, ribboned bows and laurels. The pediment is embellished with a gouache on glass medallion depicting an allegory, topped by drums, the whole topped by a basket of fruit, flowers and branches and flanked by gilded stucco vases. 19th century. Dimensions 136 x 55 cm (Minor damage, slight wear to the mirror, yellowing of the marquetry)
