Stamp of reception on the nape except error BA XV, and dated 1916, in bottom of cap marking of the manufacturer Julius Jansen of Strasbourg dated 1916, size 57. Handwritten markings of Oberjäger Michel, 4th Kompanie of Jäger Bataillon Nr 8. Havana leather wolf's tooth cap in very good condition. Good Reichskokarde. Jäger type plate model 1895 in brass with very nice gilding. The small cross on the crown is missing. Original soldered bridges. Later repair of the tab holding the orb. Good M1915 chinstrap. Very good condition. Rear visor marked (likely) BA XV and dated 1916. Maker's stamp "Julius Jansen, Strasbourg, 1916," size 57. Handwritten name of Oberjäger Michel, 4th Company, Jäger Battalion No. 8. Brown leather "wolf tooth" liner in excellent condition. Good Reich cockade. Type 1895 Jäger plate in gilt brass with bright gilding, missing the small cross atop the crown. Original soldered loops, later repair to the orb attachment tab. Good M1915 chinstrap. Very fresh condition.
