SUITE OF TWO OFFICER'S STARS FROM THE NISHAN AL-IFTIKHAR (CIRCA 1835) with ten branches, one with the monogram of Ali Bey (1882-1902), the larger with the figure of Bey Sidi Ahmed II (1929-1942), in chased silver worked with diamond points, the star enamelled green and red (chips). The clasp is formed by a silver bow. One bears the hallmark of the Bardo mint. Green ribbon with two red borders and yellow ribbon with two red borders. One case. NOTE The Nichan Iftikhar or Nichan al Iftikhar, from the Turkish Iftikhar (Order of Pride), is an ancient Tunisian honorary order desired between 1835 and 1837 by Mustapha Bey and actually formalised by Ahmed I Bey, then Bey of Tunis. This first order, by its date of creation, was awarded to reward civil and military services to both Tunisian and foreign nationals.
